AAH Pharmaceuticals delivery vans

Highlighting the driving of the delivery vans of AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Here's a YouTube record of one of AAH's vans (9 August 2010):

The driver has been delivering to Lloyds Pharmacy, Grange Road in West Kirby. The driver has chosen to park by driving onto the pavement at the front of the shop (the pavement is shared with a pavement cafe and West Kirby railway station) rather than use the large delivery area at the rear of the shop, which would take a little longer to reach.

Some photos of the same parking on the same day:

This illegal parking is part of a pattern - e.g. van of the same company parking on pavements elsewhere, e.g. the Cresent, West Kirby:

and on the same pavement outside the railway station on a regular basis, e.g. 27 July 2010:

and on Google Streetview, we see the same company ...
the same company's van (search for "CH48 4DZ" on http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl).

Where the van has been parking the paving slabs are broken and the pavement is now sunken so it fills with water every time it rains:

This is the reserved space at the rear of the chemist shop that could be used for deliveries:

A complaint was sent to the company in August 2010. This was ignored and so was a follow-up email. An email to the group (Celesio) Head of Corporate Communications resulted in a promise that an investigation would be made. After several more emails, the van is now (Jan 2011) being parked in the delivery bay at the rear of the shops. We are pressing for the company to pay for a repair to the pavement that its vans have damaged.
